Privacy policy

This policy applies to the website www.clinicaaustria.com in all language versions. It explains which data is generated when you visit and what happens to it.

2. What happens when you visit

  • The website sets no cookies, including when you switch language.
  • There is no visitor analytics and there are no tracking pixels.
  • Fonts, images and scripts come from the same server as the website. Loading the page sends no request to Google or any other third party.
  • You can send us a message using the “Write to us” form. Section 6 explains what happens to your details.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages service). When you visit, your browser transmits technical data to Cloudflare: IP address, date and time, the requested file, browser and operating system and, where applicable, the previous page.

This is necessary to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. We do not analyse this data ourselves. Cloudflare only keeps it for as long as is needed to deliver and protect the website, and then deletes it.

4. Google Maps, only when you choose

In the section “How to find us” you can display a map. Until you click “Show map”, no connection to Google is made.

Once you click, your browser loads the map from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and transmits data including your IP address. A transfer to the United States is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking. Reloading the page hides the map again. Google’s privacy policy applies.

5. Google reviews

The excerpts from public Google reviews are stored as text on the website's server. Reading them does not connect you to Google. Only the link to the Google profile takes you to a Google page.

6. Contact form, phone and email

If you call, write or use the “Write to us” form, the clinic processes your details to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

The form asks for your name, your email address and your message; your phone number is optional. When you send it, the details are transmitted in encrypted form to a small function at Cloudflare (see section 3), which turns them into an email to info@clinicaaustria.com. This email is sent via Lettermint B.V., Willemsvaart 16 B, 8019 AB Zwolle, the Netherlands. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Lettermint. Nothing is stored on the website itself. The email stays in the clinic's mailbox for as long as it is needed for your request.

Please do not send medical reports or health questions through the form or by unencrypted email. Call instead, or discuss them at the clinic.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Simply contact the clinic using the details above.

8. Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. You may also contact the authority in your country of residence.
